Our handmade all-natural soaps are made by cold process method , which means saponification is carried out at room temperature during the production process , and the whole process temperature is not more than 50 degrees Celsius . This method can avoid the loss of some nutrients due to high temperatures and the deterioration of certain natural essential oils. In the process cold soap method, it takes a lot of diligent time, together with the natural herbal essence, and the precious 100% pure plant essential oil that feels refreshing and moisturizing, unlike mainstream harsh chemicals and irritants on the market that can cause skin irritations. Cold soap making is to keep glycerol intact in soap. Glycerol accounts for almost one fourth of cold soap making. Because glycerol is a natural moisturizing agent, the natural cold soap process uses it to moisten far more than heated soap making process.
Today there are very few true soaps on the market. Most body cleansers, both liquid and solid, are actually synthetic detergent products. Take a look at the list of ingredients for an average bar of soap in your local store. It could contain petroleum, parabens, or sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), which is an anionic surfactant used in laundry detergent that will dry out and irritate your skin. It may also have sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), a cheap foaming agent that can become contaminated with the suspected carcinogen Dioxane while being manufactured. If it's labeled as antibacterial it probably contains triclosan. This chemical is classified as a pesticide by the Environmental Protection Agency. Three quarters of antibacterial liquid soaps and a third of antibacterial bar soaps contain triclosan, which is thought to be contributing to increasing bacterial resistance across the world.
